On This Day - 25th July

On this day in 1993, a south west driver won a major Saloon Stock Car Championship for the first time.  The National Championship was the feature event at Newton Abbot, and having been the target for a lot of attention from the visiting stars in previous years, 001 Philip Morgan came out on top to land the gold stripe in an historic moment for the westcountry.
